Springbrook Retreat

Posted On: Sun, 2008-04-27 09:56 by sitapati

It wasn't breakfast, but it was good. Vegan pizza and roasted sweet potato wedges with pesto.

It's a yoga retreat, but the food is a big part of it - you are what you eat! Here's Chris getting dinner.

Nerina came on Saturday morning.

Nick getting a bite to eat.

Damo! Nick and Damien are the dynamic duo - put these two guys together and it's a laff a minute.

Kirtan on Saturday night. Gavin is rocking the bottom end on bass. I'm uploading a short video of it to Google.

Prahlad played a lot of games of chess, and managed a few junior monopoly sessions as well.

Community painting on Sunday morning.

The result. We're turning it into a wall hanging for the yoga space at Atma.

The presiding Deities - Acyuta Bhava's deities Sri Sri Nitai-Navidvipachandra, Julia's Gopala deity, and Sri Dustara Rama, my salagrama-sila. Taruni made this beautiful set for Nitai-Navidvipachandra while Acyuta was in Cairns, just from Acyuta's description that they are "about this high"! Awesome, eh? Acyuta sewed the matching set for Gopala and made the vyasasana cushion for Dustara Rama while we were on the retreat.

Adina-lila and Suvilasa took more photos, so hopefully they'll upload some good ones.
