dandavat pranam& hare krishna prabhuji .

Body building can be good or

Body building can be good or bad, depending on your consciousness and your nature.

Good and bad are defined in Krishna consciousness by whether something is favorable or unfavorable for our Krishna consciousness.

The body is a machine, our vehicle, and the instrument of our service to Sri Krishna in this world. We are responsible for maintaining it in a functional condition.

Each body is different. You should do the amount of exercise required by your body to keep it in optimum condition. We have our karma, but we can also influence it. In scientific terms, diet, exercise and attitude influence epigenetic factors, which in turn influence how genes (our karma) are expressed.

As for what to eat, whey, soy, or pea powder are good sources of protein. Join the group on facebook and read more.

this body-centric stuff seems a little off to me

i'm sorry, but i fail to see the krsna conscious connection to these body-centered activities of yours (this article, and also your competition in the yoga-championship recently, with detailed accounts of your training- and nutrition regimen).

i very much appreciate using hatha yoga, surfing, or anything else that isn't directly opposed to our principles as a means to reach out to new people. but doing this stuff on it's own, in order to enjoy the body better by jumping out of bed in one leap or whatever, makes as much sense as discussing the latest video games or james bond movies in a group of devotees.

i'm sure it happens, very few of us are pure devotees after all, but i don't see any point in promoting it by creating online groups for this purpose...

You're not on facebook, are

You're not on facebook, are you?

no, should i?

is there something i'm missing? the whole idea not being serious, per example? if that's the case, i apologize for missing the point...
