Actually, it doesn't hurt to ask "what would Prabhupada say." And then go and check in his books, in the extensive index on different topics; or ask a sadhu. Too bad if the sentence was used by unqualified people, but in its own right, sastra pramana 'beats' speculation :) It is good that you write this blog for your purification. I should start one too :)
