The exact sum missing may never be clear, but a report by the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) suggests it may exceed $50bn, making it an even bigger theft than Bernard Madoff's notorious Ponzi scheme.

Scum sucking contractors

I have a friend who is a Colonel in the US Army and he refers to them as "scum sucking contractors." He knows all about this kind of stuff.

The problem is when we promise reconstruction and then it doesn't happen, it leaves our boys in the military absorbing the anger.
