Planet ISKCON

Hi, and welcome! I'm Sita-pati das, maintainer of Planet ISKCON.

Planet ISKCON is the uncensored voice of the ISKCON community online.

It's an hourly-updated snapshot of the RSS feeds of ISKCON members worldwide.

The mission is to increase momentum in fulfilling the purposes of ISKCON through information sharing.

In order to be included a blog should talk about what the author is doing as well as what they are thinking.

The idea is to provide the readers with information on who they are hearing from, so that they have some context within which to understand what they say.

If you are an active member of ISKCON and have a blog, then feel free to submit your blog feed for inclusion. I'll watch it for some time, and then add it if it's appropriate.

Once a feed is added, there is no further filtering or editing. It's your voice - you are part of the community, and you're accountable to the community for what you say.

Your feed will be dropped if you go too far off topic and don't talk about things related to what you do, what you think, and the mission objectives of ISKCON.

Your feed may also be dropped if you become disruptive or abusive, either of others, or of the Planet ISKCON system.

Email me to submit a blog feed, report an issue, or give some feedback:

Subuddhi Krishna das, Chicago

Hare Krishna prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am the Director of "Yoga for Soul". I got inspired by your "Atma Yoga". "Yoga for Soul" is a preaching center under ISKCON of Northwest Chicago.

I am preaching in Chicago and Milwaukee and conducting telephonic classes on Nectar of Devotion.

I have started a blog "Srimad Bhagavatam - Wisdom & Analogies". I have collected many pearls of wisdom and would like to share with devotees.

Please let me know how I can link these with PlanetIskcon.

Thank you for your great service. I share many articles and posts with around 300 of my friends around the world.

Hare Krishna Sita Pati Prabhu,
Please accept my obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Would you kindly consider adding http://sankirtansanga.wordpress.com to Planet ISKCON's blog roll ?

Right now its in its fledging state but, I am hopeful that it will grow in due course. To facilitate this I have committed to posting something at least once every 1-2 weeks, if not more. I am hoping that adding it to Planet ISKCON will encourage more persons to post there and engage in the most wonderful activities of harinama and sastra sankirtan. Thank you very much.

Haribol Sita-pati Das,

Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

This is Bhakta Chandan from Canberra. I wanted to put a blog for - "Lord Jagannath Rathayatra & World Holy Name Day Celebrations" in Canberra on 29 September'07. I just created my user id 'Chnadan' at your website. But I couldn't figure out how to add this blog. Also I have an attachment to include.

If you can please help me in this regard it will be great. Also i take this opportunity to thank you for maintaining such a wonderful website. Your website is one stop where we can get ISKCON news from around the world. Thank you very much for your service for Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna!

Hare Krishna!

Haribol Prabhu, Please can I

Sriradha   |   Thu, 2007-07-12 14:17

Haribol Prabhu,
Please can I kindly request you to remove my blog from this Iskcon feed?
This is my own personal blog and there are videos of my daughter there. Also, I am not an initiated member of Iskcon or even a devotee, I am just struggling for some sort of spiritual life. In addition I do not want to offend anyone with my nonsensical ramblings.

It might also be a nice idea to request permission from people before you add their journal to such public feeds.
Yours in Prabhupada's service
Tracey

Do Prabhupada letters fit this purpose?

jms698   |   Fri, 2007-06-08 10:09

Does the feed of Srila Prabhupada letters fit this mission of PlanetIskcon as you define it here? I'm not saying it shouldn't be included, just wondering.

I think it contributes to

I think it contributes to the "7 purposes of ISKCON" portion of the mission.

Madhava Gosh I look forward

Madhava Gosh   |   Wed, 2007-12-05 16:01

Madhava Gosh

I look forward to reading the letters everyday. I have weak sadhana and this bit of association with Srila Prabhupada everyday is like a lifeline.
