We have just recently found out that we will host the following guests are this year's Ratha Yatra at Gita Nagari Farm. They are listed here in no particular order. Her Grace Malati prabhu, HH Bhakti Vasudeva Swami, HH Chandramauli Swami, HH Satsvarupa dasa Goswami, and last but certainly not least, His Grace Ravindra Svarup. All of us at the farm are ecstaticcally looking forward to entertaining these wonderful guests.

An addition to this year's festivities will be a small Rath cart, fabricated especially for the children so that they will be able to participate in the parade on their level. This is a first for Gita Nagari and we are looking forward to that particular aspect of the festivities. Of course, we do need the children to help decorate the cart and look forward to greeting many of them on Saturday.

The festival starts at 10 am and ends at 6 pm wtith a final kirtan. Check our website www.gitanagari.org for more detailed information and directions.

hosting on our web site, www.vihe.org, a variety of audio seminars recorded
during the last 20 years.

This unique collection of well-researched and inspiring lectures, given by
senior Vaisnavas, serves to infuse us with faith, conviction and shastric
knowledge of devotional service, Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy, Krishna's holy
name, His pastimes, His dhama and so on. Among them are the Bhaktivaibhava

The point is, you're calling your site "Planet ISKCON". The ritvik doctrine was discredited and rejected long ago in ISKCON. To make a little jibe of my own (meant in good humor), Sita-pati prabhu, which planet are you from?

On Planet ISKCON, please stop the automatic audio streaming that occurs when your site is opened. It's more than annoying, especially when visitors are listening to something else on their computers when they arrive, or when opening video links on your site, which your audio plays over the top of.

You've got a great website. Please fix it.

Dear Prabhu, you may have already noticed that a video clip and links to an 8-part video series in which Gauridasa Pandit dasa argues for the ritvik doctrine have been posted on your Planet ISKCON website.

I appreciate your mood of non-censorship, but I respectfully submit that, since you are using the ISKCON name as part of your site's title, the content should in one way or other uphold the values of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness. The ritvik doctrine is a gross deviation from those values, because it opines that the disciplic succession stopped with our founder-acharya, Srila Prabhupada. Such a conclusion is not supported by shastra and, however much the ritviks try to juggle the words of Srila Prabhupada, is not supported by his instructions or writings.

If you allow such propoganda under the banner of "ISKCON", you run the risk of misleading people into acceptance of the ritvik doctrine.

Therefore, I request that you consider removing his video and link from your website. If you cannot do this, then at least post a notice that the opinions of Gauridasa Pandit do not reflect the conclusions of the leaders of ISKCON and the vast majority of its members.

Haribol Prabhu, I didn't really want to make this comment public, incase I cause offence. But I don't see another way to contact you. Please would you consider whether Satsvarup Das' blog is suitable for Planet Iskcon. It seems very much on the mental platform and I do not see how an hour by hour account of the mind of someone who is physically and mentally ill can benefit this audience. The poems are not Krishna Conscious and (for me anyway) do not inspire me in KC. His thoughts regarding listening to the voice of a women and being disturbed is something that he should seek private help for, not in a public forum. Quite honestly this whole blog feed is disturbing.

Maybe I am wrong, so please forgive me if I am making an offense.

I was at the New Govardhana Temple in Murwillumbah with my family just yesterday, and while there purchased the JESUS IN INDIA DVD from the Temple Shop, which doesn't work in our DVD Player, nor a friend's, and not in my computer. I have been trying to locate a way to send an e-mail to the devotee lady who owns/operates the shop and tell her. I admit being a novice when it comes to the internet and computers, and after an hour of fruitless endeavour, I thought this way may produce a result. If you could help, that would be lovely, and I apologize in advance if this is a nuisance to you.

For your interest, I live in Burleigh Heads with my wife and infant daughter, who is one of my 5 children. We are all Vegetarians. I love and believe in so much of the wisdom of what you and other devotees are doing, and so any time an opportunity arises, I encourage others to come to the New Govardhana Temple when I visit.

I was a Mormon for 20 years (if that proves interesting), but after becoming a Vegetarian through the challenging wisdom of Mr. Srila Prabhupada as taught to me by a devotee named Narada Muni some years ago, I couldn't reconcile the differences. Almost all Mormons thought I was deluded and ceased near-all association with me, which was a blessing in disguise. Peculiarly, I managed to bring quite a number of Mormons to the Sunday programme around that time - dozens in fact. So much has changed in my life for the better since then. I used to be a chef, now I'm a Psychological Astrologer. Once a devotee-friend visited me at a restuarant I worked in, and they allowed him to come into the kitchen. When I saw him enter, I said, "What are you doing in here?!" Because I realized a purity about him - and it was a second later that I knew I had to get out of that kind of work. After 20 years in Martial Arts, part of my work career became Karate Instructor - and I only mention that to say this: Some of my students were devotees, and of all the fellows sweating in the group from training, they were the ones who didn't stink (for want of a better term), and I attributed that to their meatless diet. Anyway . . . perhaps that little blurb will be amusing in places.
