This week we visited Dutton Park

Here is our guide, local artist Josh

"Chanting Hare Krishna makes you happy"

"Signs Along the Way"

"I will not be so bold to say that I have seen God, but I have seen signs along the way, and I am encouraged." - Swami B.R. Sridhar

Krishna is everywhere, and for the devotee He is manifested in His personal form.

No prizes for guessing which local artist was responsible for this... :-)

People love to bring their children to hear the harinam.

We want to replace the current generation of Australian's childhood memories of the sound of the Mr Whippy ice cream truck in their neighbourhood with the sound of Vaisnava kirtan. In this way we will create a positive samskara that will become their pious activities.

By the mercy of the sadhus you get sraddha. Although faith normally precedes devotee association, by the extreme mercy and overflowing love of Lord Caitanya the free will of the living entities is almost negated, and they are drawn into love of God willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly. By the mercy of Lord Nityananda and Srila Prabhupada this has been extended to all peoples, everywhere.

In the heart of suburban Australia, a brahmana comes out of his house to see the kirtan

This is Australia mate!

Another sign along the way, this one with a direct message for me: "No Stopping, No Limit". tamaso ma | jyotir gamaya. Don't stop in this material world, go forward into the limitless bliss of spiritual existence - nityananda.

om asato ma sad gamaya
tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
mrtyor mamrtam gamaya

"From the unreal lead me to the real.
From darkness lead me to light.
From death lead me to immortality."

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad I.3.28

A devotee sees the Lord everywhere and His hand in everything, whereas the atheist cannot see Him anywhere.

"Yes I have seen Krishna. Here is Krishna in this painting, you are also seeing Him. This is Krishna." - Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
